50 Years of Stories -Joe

Joe’s MEND story started over 10 years ago when he was referred to our services by his rehabilitation center. Having lost his family, a place to live, and his job, Joe was in search for a fresh start at life. He was grateful that MEND was there to provide him weekly groceries and clothing assistance. Joe shares, “And for all that MEND has done for me, I take my shirt off my back for this place and the staff and volunteers who have become my family.” We are grateful that Joe has dedicated countless hours volunteering to help others facing similar situations to his.
