50 Years of Stories -Margie

After losing her job during the recession, Margie came to MEND to help serve our community. Fast forward 10 years later and Margie is one of the many friendly faces that continues to dedicate countless hours to help those in need. Margie supports our volunteer department and throughout her time at MEND, she has been able to regain her confidence. “I will never forget how MEND helped me through my own challenges, When I was feeling at my lowest, MEND helped me regain my self-confidence and self-esteem,” she shared. As a strong believer in our mission to meet each need with dignity, Margie is just as excited as we are to be celebrating 50 years of compassion in action!
