50 years of Stories -Art

Art has dedicated his time for 10 years to serve our MEND community in a variety of different ways. From helping onsite at the food bank to fundraising money to donate to our programs, Art has dedicated thousands of hours to help those in need. How did this story start you may ask? During one of MEND’s back to school events, Art signed up to be a volunteer. “It was a day of happy faces that I never forgot as a volunteer. I knew then that was what I wanted to do when I retired. I saw how MEND helped the people of Pacoima and surrounding communities,” Art shared. Art’s kindness and belief in our mission to meet each need with dignity has made a positive impact on the lives of many.
